Bible Study

Bible Study has begun again, in person, on Wednesdays at 10:30 am in our Murrayville Sanctuary. We are trying a new format this fall. It is not based on the lectionary but on the theme of Biblical Feasting and Hospitality.

The topics and readings for the next four weeks will be:

• November 2:  Appointed Festivals and Joyful Commands - Leviticus Ch. 23
• November 9:  The Wedding Feast: Too Busy Tonight - Matthew 22:1-10
• November 16:  Forbidden Food and Politics at the Table - 1 Corinthians 8:1-13
• November 23:  Sharing Bread with Jesus - Luke 24:28-35

For the season of Advent, we will be discussing some of the people involved in the journey to Bethlehem.
