We acknowledge with gratitude that we live and gather on the unceded and ancestral lands of the Kwantlen, Matsqui, Katzie and Semiahmoo people. We honour their faithful stewardship of the land and seek to walk in the Spirit of reconciliation.

This week as mothers are recognized around the world for their dedication, we turn to thank all those who have nurtured and cared for us, and steward creation towards a fuller life.

These powerhouses of love help to usher us towards a new kin-dom, where life-giving connections go beyond kin and nation, towards a theology and love for all, and recognition of individual gifts, rather than biologically determined roles.

Come, celebrate all that you are and all that we can be, when we let the love of Christ inspire our life and work.
