We acknowledge with gratitude that we live and gather on the unceded and ancestral lands of the q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ (Kwantlen), Máthxwi (Matsqui), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), and Se’mya’me (Semiahmoo) peoples. We honour their faithful stewardship of the land and seek to walk in the Spirit of reconciliation.

We read in the book of Isaiah that as the people have returned to Jerusalem from exile in Babylon, they are unsure of themselves. They wonder, as we do sometimes, “what happens next?”
In this passage, God holds out the promise of a new heaven and a new earth, where joy and delight will reign. The future is one of harmony with all creation; fear and destruction shall end.
Let’s wonder together: “What happens next” in our church and our world as we travel together on this journey of faith?
